Hello. Day Three is an easy Chocolatey treat for those who need something sweet!
I learned how to eat and make food that had as little fat as possible from a cook that I worked with at a small wine bar. Sarah is her name and she likes food, she is a true foodie, but she also likes not to have to limit her intake of food and still stay thin. These brownies were something that she taught me to make and we would indulge every once in awhile.
The lesson went, open your can of soda, take a swig, and pour the rest into the brownie mix!
Brownie Mix – I used Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix
12 oz can of your choice of soda- I used Diet Coke, Dr.Pepper would be my second choice.
Step 1: Preheat Oven to 350˚F or according to directions on box
Step 2: Combine brownie mix and can of soda until lumps are gone.
Step 3: Pour into greased square pan (8×8 or 9×9) and follow time directions on box.
Step 4: Add 5-10 minutes on to baking time, so somewhere around 40-45 minutes. 42minutes for my oven.
Step 5: Let cool and then indulge.
Take these brownies and a heart cookie cutter and turn them into the perfect Valentine’s Day Treat! Serve with Strawberry milk and it will be a hit!
Oh did I mention these brownies can be classified as a “skinny” recipe! So you should probably eat one more, or the whole pan.
