I have not yet perfected the art of silver/gold leafing furniture, I took a few ques from my parents and this dresser they made me for Christmas. I know what you are thinking, yes, I do, unequivocally have the awesomest parents around. Just look at this beauty. My mom and I found this piece at a thrift shop for a very reasonable amount and she offered to silver leaf it for me to use as a bar. I think she did not quite realize what she got herself into.
This is the dresser in all of it’s glory. Oh and I forgot to mention the most darling waste bin to match!
Back to what I was saying. I have not perfected this process, my parents are much closer, and because I do not want you to curse my name as you try to emulate this project I am going to hold off on the tutorial part for now.

I do not think that this table and I are done yet, but for now I am going to step away and get some perspective before I start trying different things. I was trying to make it a touch more perfect but it seemed the harder I worked at accomplishing that goal the worse the table was looking.
